BAYADA Home Health Care in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a part-time role providing outpatient home health visits to seniors in the Wake County area.

As a PTA you will support clients to attain or maintain optimal well-being, administering treatments and education under a licensed Physical Therapist. The office serves adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities.

Qualifications

• NC PTA licensure required.
• Graduate from a 2-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
• At least 1 year PTA experience under PT supervision.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services to outpatient home health clients.
• Administer treatments, tests and client education.
• Implement interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA, for a part time opportunity performing Outpatient home health visits for oursenior living office, located in Raleigh, NC.

This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout the Wake County area.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of North Carolina
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.
