Job summary

Potomac Healthcare Solutions is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant at NAVSTA Norfolk, Sewells Point, VA. You will work under a supervising physical therapist to deliver a full range of PTA services and to orient and guide new staff.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, clerical duties, and supporting clinic operations. A CAPTE-accredited program, PTA license, and US citizenship are required, with relocation and benefits available as listed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree completed from an accredited program.
• Graduation from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current, full, active and unrestricted PTA license or PTA certification per APTA.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of PTA services as directed by supervising PT.
• Teach and supervise new PTAs and aides; orientation and instruction.
• Perform clerical duties related to patient care and department operations.
• Measure joint motion, body part measurements, vital signs to track treatment outcomes.
• Support clinical operations and scheduling as assigned.
