Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Therapy Department. You will assist the Physical Therapist during evaluations and carry out the Care Plan under supervision, primarily in an outpatient setting.

The role is full-time (30-35 hours per week), Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. AA degree from an APTA-accredited program and licensure where required by law are expected, with at least two years in healthcare preferred, including

Qualifications

• AA degree from an APTA-accredited program and licensure if required by law.
• Two years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Outpatient experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident’s progress and communicate with Physical Therapist
• Maintain documentation of resident activities and billing
• Perform resident screening during admission and quarterly & annual screens
