Westminster Baldwin Park in Orlando, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Therapy Department. The PTA will work under direct supervision from the Program Manager or Therapist for each patient/resident and may receive clinical supervision from Therapists. The role reports to the Therapy Program Director.

The position offers on-call (PRN) weekdays and weekends availability, with competitive wages and onsite amenities.

Qualifications

• AA degree from an APTA-accredited program.
• Licensure as required by law.
• Two years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Care Plan as designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Assist the PT during evaluations.
• Monitor resident’s progress and communicate with PT.
• Maintain documentation in the system of resident activities, record progress and billing activities.
• Perform Resident’s Home Assessment as part of discharge process as directed by the PT.
• PerformResident’s screening during admission and quarterly/annual screening to determine need for therapy as directed by the PT.

We are currently searching for an Physical Therapist Assistant to work in the Therapy Department. In this role, the PTA is responsible to follow direct supervision from the Program Manager or Therapist for each patient/resident assigned to the Physical Therapist and is dependent on the nature of the skilled tasks and the complexities of the patients=/residents= presenting condition. May receive clinical supervision from Therapists. This position reports to the Therapy Program Director
