Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Therapy Department. The PTA assists the Physical Therapist with evaluations and carries out the care plan for each patient/resident, under supervision, within a dedicated care team.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting activities and billing, and performing screenings at admission and on a quarterly/annual basis.

Qualifications

• AA degree from an APTA accredited program and licensure as required by law.
• Two years’ health care experience; outpatient experience required.
• Licensure where required by law.

Responsabilités

• Monitor resident progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain documentation in the system of resident activities, record progress and document billing activities; perform Resident’s Home Assessment during discharge as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Perform Resident’s screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screenings to determine the need for therapy as directed by the Physical Therapist.
