Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under valid referral process, carries out an individualized program of physical therapy, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize progress toward functional goals.
• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice and uses evidence-based techniques.
• Care for varied age groups with inclusive, respectful attitude.
• Counsels patients and families about results and treatment options, involving them in goal setting.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistant with regular communication.
• Uses proper documentation for evaluation, plan of care, treatments, and discharge summaries.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and efficient utilization of patient resources.
• Ensures scheduling, no-shows, and front office coordination with clear communication.
