Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Green Health and Wellness Center as a PRN Physical Therapist in Outpatient – Ortho/Neuro. You will help patients regain strength, mobility and independence through personalized treatments.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree, state license and BLS, with a patient-centered approach and ability to collaborate with physicians and staff across rehab services. This outpatient role covers multiple locations in the Akron area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certificate in physical therapy.
• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current PT license in the state.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Supervise activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or certificate

Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association

Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
