Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Ohio is seeking a Physical Therapist – Neuro Outpatient to provide outpatient rehabilitation for adults with neurological conditions at the Fairview Wellness Center and the Mellen Center. This role focuses on mobility, balance, strength, and independence while working with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, planning and revising a care plan with patient/family input, delivering therapy interventions, and supervising PTAs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or certificate.
• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other support personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or certificate

Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
