Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient services spanning ortho and neuro, PRN float. The role involves evaluating patients, designing care plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy to improve strength, range of motion, and mobility, while collaborating with physicians and staff.

This position covers multiple outpatient locations in the Akron area; shifts are days, with varied hours between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or certificate in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and supervise assistants and students.
