Andrews Institute in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care on a PRN basis. You will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength, using evidence-based modalities.

You will work with a clinical team to coordinate care and document outcomes in the medical record. The role requires a PT license in Florida, a degree in physical therapy (DPT/MS/BS), and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Florida Physical Therapist license required upon hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Completes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care.
• Plans and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate.
• Coordinates patient care with other clinical team members to ensure optimal care.
• Educates patients and caregivers in treatment to promote home-based activity.
• Completes paperwork to reflect care provided and outcomes achieved.
• Monitors and evaluates outcomes related to assessment and plan of care.
• Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and standards in Physical Therapy.
• Maintains current license and monitors treatment activities of PTA's and aides.
• After one year of experience, may act as student supervisor.
• Assists in other duties to support department and organization.
• May be required to remain on campus during severe weather or disasters.
