Job summary

Agape Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist for outpatient clinic coverage. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct care following established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
• Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
• Current state of Maryland license, CPR certification.
• Previous staff supervisory responsibility, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.
• Exercise and manual based skills, McKenzie skilled, and sports rehab.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review physician's referral and patient records to determine required physical therapy treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals, and create a comprehensive program.
• Implement treatment programs and provide essential physical therapy services.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
