Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for outpatient rehab services. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external hires, with clinic hours M-Th 7a-7p and Fri 7a-5p, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Massachusetts Physical Therapist Licensure required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create plans of care within 24 hours.
• Implement therapy plans and adjust as patient needs change.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and home programs.
• Manage scheduling, billing, and equipment use per policy.
• Contribute to staff orientation and intern training.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education.
• Meet productivity expectations and participate in meetings.
• Attend in-service trainings and share expertise.
