Job summary

Sustain Recovery Rehab Center in Rego Park, NY is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality care, develop personalized treatment plans, and contribute to patients’ rehabilitation journeys.

You will work onsite with a manageable caseload of about 7 patients per day, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and regulatory compliance. A NY PT license is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of physical rehabilitation techniques and patient care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans utilizing manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise regimens, and the latest rehabilitation strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, injury prevention, and long-term mobility solutions.
• Document patient progress meticulously to adjust treatment plans as needed and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in teamwork, participating in multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in physical therapy, employing evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.
