Job summary

MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement medically prescribed treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability. This role supports independent operations with collaboration across the care team, following physician plans of care.

Requirements include WA PT licensure, APTA-approved program completion, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of PT experience; elder care and Medicare Home Health experience

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the APTA or equivalent.
• Licensed in Washington state as a physical therapist.
• CPR certification for health care providers.
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience.
• Experience with frail or elderly populations preferred.
• Medicare Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to relieve pain and restore function.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physician orders.
• Observe, document and communicate patient progress and changes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.
