Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a Doctorate-level Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week with evening shifts, including two days until 7:30 pm and Fridays until 5:30 pm.

The role offers a pay range of $41.10–$61.65 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires. You will evaluate patients, establish care plans, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and performs musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements treatment; monitors outcomes and adjusts the plan as needed; communicates with physicians and teammates.
• Plans for discharge including home programs and patient/family teaching; coordinates transition planning within the continuum of care.
• Documents patient care following department policy; records progress and billing; adheres to productivity, billing, and documentation standards.
• May supervise physical therapy assistants and rehab aides; provides supervision and ongoing guidance as requested.
