Job summary

ChildServe in Iowa City is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient pediatric rehab team. You will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to children and help craft plans tailored to each child’s needs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, totaling 40 hours per week. A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with an active Iowa license is required; pediatric experience is preferred. Must communicate effectively in English and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be mobile in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Administer standardized tests and screenings, informally assess and observe patients.
• Adhere to the plan of care as written.
• Provide appropriate recommendations, referrals, and follow-up for each case.
• Participate in internal quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Assist in the research/development of clinical practices and competencies.
• Plan and prepare individualized activities to meet each child's goals.

What You'll Do
