Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Ripley, TN is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide direct care following established protocols to improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with physicians and payors, and supervising support staff. Eligible candidates hold a CAPTE-accredited degree and a TN PT license, with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current state of Tennessee Physical Therapist license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine required physical therapy treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop plans of care and comprehensive programs to reach goals.
• Implement treatment programs and essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.
