Mayo Clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care across inpatients and outpatients, including Home Health/Hospice. You will assess, plan, treat, and discharge patients, using therapeutic exercise and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The role requires a DPT or eligibility, English proficiency, and current BLS certification. A split schedule between Barron and Rice Lake Clinics with outpatient emphasis, wardrobe to patient needs, and collaboration with

Competenze

• Obtained, or eligible to obtain, a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
• American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties board-certifications preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of Physical Medicine, Physical Therapy Modalities, anatomy and physiology.
• Licensed or eligible for Physical Therapy License in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers certification.

Mansioni

• Identify patients: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Health/Hospice, Sub-Acute.
• Develop plan of care and discharge planning.
• Perform treatment to improve strength, balance, ROM and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, disease and prevention.
• Coordinate with staff and supervise assistants as needed.
• Create/participate in Community Engagement and performance-improvement activities.
