Job summary

Corewell Health Breton Clinic in Kentwood, MI seeks a physical therapist to join a small, collaborative outpatient team of seven clinicians and one patient service representative. You will provide orthopedic PT services, perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and help restore maximal function.

A Michigan PT license, Master’s degree, BLS, and 6 months of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Master’s Degree required for the role.
• Michigan Physical Therapist License required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges adaptive equipment as needed.
• Performs evaluation procedures to assess disability level and create a plan of treatment.
• Develops a treatment program to restore maximal function.
• Assesses effectiveness of treatment and adjusts goals as needed.
