Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida seeks a Physical Therapist to lead clinical practice, develop treatment plans, and mentor support staff. The role emphasizes evidence-based care, patient education, and accurate documentation for quality outcomes.

The incumbent collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation and adheres to regulatory standards. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, with required PT licensure and a PT-TEMP license when applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, and EMR systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, physicians, nurses, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical knowledge and uses evidence-based practices as a Clinical instructor.
• Supports patient safety and employee safety in daily activities.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Establishes and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Documents accurately and timely using objective terminology.
• Oversees care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation aides according to standards.
