Career Links in Texas is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients recover mobility after orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and neurological conditions.

This full-time position requires CAPTE-accredited PTA program graduate, Texas PTA license or eligibility, CPR/BLS, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility programs.
• Observe, document, and communicate patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, wellness strategies, and injury prevention techniques as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of patient care and treatment services.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist with clinic operations and maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Adhere to all applicable state, federal, payer, and facility regulations and policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
