Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited PTA program with an Associate's degree.
• Current New York State PTA license or eligibility.
• Current CPR Certification and annual safety trainings.
• Local travel may be required to support outpatient therapy needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under licensed PT supervision.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans for patient goals.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, balance, and ADLs.
• Assist with assistive devices and therapeutic modalities as directed.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate progress and modify treatment with the supervising PT.
