Flagship Therapy in Keller, TX is seeking a Full Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant for a mobile Skilled Nursing rehab program with paid travel time. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist, performing screenings, developing care plans, and delivering necessary rehabilitation to geriatric patients.

Open to PTAs at all experience levels, including new grads. Travel and reliable transportation are required; benefits are offered and the team emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered

• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other providers about physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Keller Oaks Healthcare Center in Keller, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant for our mobile Skilled Nursing rehab program with paid travel time!

Duties

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.

Travel and reliable transportation is required.
