Job summary

Bethany Children's Health Center in Bethany, OK is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care for pediatric clients, delivering individualized treatment procedures and collaborating with the patient care team. Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Experience: Pediatric experience preferred.
• License/Certification/Credential: Physical Therapy License from the state of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Performs individualized treatment procedures to maximize the child’s performance.
• Upon provider’s referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plans including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team; performs timely and accurate documentation and stays up to date on the most recent occupational Therapy techniques through research and CE.
• Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need.
• Participate in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Shift: Direct Patient Care

A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for this position. The bonus will be paid upon completion of 90 days of employment and is subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. Recipients must commit to two years of employment.

Duty

• Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child’s performance. (50%)
• Upon provider’s referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plans including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective. (15%)
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team; performs timely and accurate documentation and stays up to date on the most recent occupational Therapy techniques through research and CE. (15%)
• Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need. (10%)
• Participate in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned. (5%)
