Spaulding Rehabilitation in Rhode Island is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. The role emphasizes a 1:1 treatment model across clinic locations in East Greenwich, Pawtucket, Providence and nearby communities.

Graduation from an accredited PT program is required; RI licensure is mandatory. DPT is preferred, and continuing education, mentorship, and opportunities for clinical advancement are offered.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Rhode Island Physical Therapist license is required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred or licensure from 2016 onward requires DPT.
• Licensure must be current and in good standing in Rhode Island.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities.
• Interpret physical therapy evaluations and test results to determine goals and plans.
• Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in activities and use of assistive devices.
• Establish a plan of care and communicate goals with patient and family.
• Supervise PTAs according to policy and state regulations; participate in quality improvement activities.
