Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Network is seeking a per diem Inpatient Physical Therapist at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence. The role focuses on a 1:1 model, with emphasis on mobility, independence, and quality of life for patients. You’ll work within a comprehensive clinical ladder, mentorship, and ongoing education opportunities.

Requirements include a Rhode Island PT license and a degree in physical therapy (DPT preferred). Experience preferred but internships are acceptable for new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Rhode Island is required.
• BLS certification and a State Driver’s License are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient mobility goals and discharge planning.
• Interpret evaluations and tests to plan care.
• Perform and document treatments and progress notes.
• Supervise PTAs per policy and state regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
