Job summary

BayCare in the Bloomingdale HealthHub, Valrico, FL, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an ambulatory setting. You will develop individualized plans and deliver one-on-one therapy focused on mobility, strength, and functional outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A valid PT license, BLS, and eligibility or licensure within 6 months are required; a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy

Qualifications

• Required BLS certification.
• PT (Physical Therapy) license or eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on improving mobility, strength, and functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical direction to Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and students.
• Participate in continuing education and contribute to program development.
