Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipunctures according to laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Positively identify all patients and verify specimen identification.
  • Receive and prepare laboratory specimens prior to analysis and testing.
  • Centrifuge and aliquot specimens, following all special handling instructions.
  • Complete logs for documentation and troubleshooting.
