Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking a Training Coordinator for the Outpatient Pharmacy, working days at the Southlake campus in Lenexa. This full-time role focuses on delivering education and training programs to help pharmacy staff acquire and maintain essential knowledge and skills.

Using adult learning principles, the coordinator develops and delivers onboarding and ongoing training, creates materials, audits programs, and supports multiple ambulatory services.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR 2+ years in lieu of Associates Degree
• Associates Degree preferred for role
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ year Pharmacy Tech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicates vision and goals for training programs.
• Organizes competency models for pharmacy staff.
• Ensures education compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establishes policies, procedures, and work standards for trainees.
• Maintains up-to-date training records and documentation.
• Observes and assesses trainee performance and provides feedback.
• Partners with Training Leadership on new initiatives.
• Supports continuous improvement in training programs.
• Audits training effectiveness and standard adherence.
