Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Trainee (Bilingual Spanish) in Santa Monica, CA. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform packaging, labeling, and basic pharmacy tasks to support medication handling and distribution.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, California Pharmacy Technician license, and completion of Kaiser’s Technician Program. Bilingual Spanish/English Level II and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician License (California).
• Successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program required.
• Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic & trade name equivalents.
• Knowledge of Federal & State laws / regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services.
• Ability to learn & operate the pharmacy computer system & other equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time w/ frequent bending, stooping, lifting & reaching.
• Ability to read, understand & transcribe pharmaceutical information.
• Lift or transport items of 1 - 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Must pass entrance exam and background check.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.
