Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience required or in a pharmacy technician training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent related experience.
• Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Registration (Hawaii).
• Pharmacy Technician Certificate from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and initiate service transactions.
• Input patient and prescription information to produce labels and assist in prescription filling.
• Select proper drug and quantity to be dispensed and present to pharmacist for checking.
• Maintain appropriate level of drugs and supplies for operations.
• Process cash, check, or credit card payments and reconcile bank deposits.
• Answer incoming phone calls and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
