Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be 18+ and obtain Montana Tech in Training license within 30 days of hire.
• Preference for National Certification (CPhT) or ability to become certified within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in prescription dispensing and provide quality pharmaceutical care.
• Help with outpatient pharmacy operations, including labeling, entry of prescription data, and charging for items.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with OTC products and charges/credits.
• Operate POS system and perform data entry and report generation tasks.
• Adjudicate and reconcile patient accounts and insurance billing.
• Work at Highland Park Pharmacy and Big Sky Pharmacy as needed for daily operations.
• Maintain adequate drug inventories and meet dispensing needs.
• Assist review of clinical information to approve refills under the collaborative practice agreement.
• Review patient medication histories to support pharmacist decisions.
• Conduct audits and quality improvement tasks as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
