Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Acquire Montana License for Tech in Training within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ability to become certified within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in prescription dispensing and patient care.
• Handle outpatient operations: fill prescriptions, enter data, label, and charge.
• Answer calls, assist customers, and process OTC items.
• Operate POS and generate reports; reconcile patient accounts and insurance billing.
• Maintain adequate drug inventories and comply with policies and regulations.
• Work at Highland Park Pharmacy and Big Sky Pharmacy as needed.
• Review clinical information to approve refills under a collaborative practice agreement.
• Review patient medication histories to support clinical decisions.
• Perform audits and quality improvement tasks as assigned.
