Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient, PRN to support medication distribution and management in a busy ambulatory setting. The role collaborates with pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate dispensing, inventory control, and safe patient care across the facility.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, is a certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and OBOP registered, with ability to obtain/upgrade credential within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the PTCB or NHA.
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration as CPT/RPT/Technician Trainee.
• Registration must be updated to CPT with OBOP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and fill carts daily.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy.
• Support sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed.
