Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for the Fairfield Outpatient Pharmacy—PRN. You will assist in processing prescriptions, maintain patient records, and support pharmacists in daily operations within a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements include a High School degree or GED and valid ExCPT or PTCB certification with state registration; experience in retail/outpatient pharmacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT or PTCB and State Board registration required.
• Experience in Retail/Outpatient/Hospital settings preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions.
• Record patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educate patients on correct medication use.
• Support Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Follow infection-control protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
