Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to provide technical support across outpatient pharmacies in Sacramento, Roseville and Davis. The role requires travel between sites and a minimum of three 8-hour shifts per week, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

All work is on-site at 48X Sacramento. Under supervision of an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, you will assist with drug distribution and inventory control, meet licensing requirements, and support third-party

Qualifications

• California Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
• Two years of outpatient pharmacy experience.
• Recent outpatient pharmacy experience within last 2 years.
• Knowledge of third-party insurances, Medicare Plan-B and/or manual claims.
• Knowledge of current Medi-Cal Formulary and other third-party billing systems.
• Knowledge of current California Pharmacy Law.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy terminology and abbreviations.
