Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy to become a Pharmacist to qualify.
• Able to perform clerical and routine clinical/technical duties under immediate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance and performs activities under immediate supervision of licensed personnel.
• Transports charts, records, supplies, specimens, medications and equipment to and from all areas of the hospital.
• Performs clerical duties including receptionist tasks, data entry and form completion.
• Performs routine technical duties related to the department and maintains required records.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
• Communicates effectively with hospital staff, patients and others.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Operates and assists in maintaining department equipment and work areas.
• Contributes to a clean and safe work environment.
• Completes required training and education for department requirements.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care knowledge for patients served.
• Works flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs other duties as required.
