Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a Clinic Pharmacist to support the Outpatient Pharmacy Service. You will fill medication orders, monitor therapies, provide drug information, and resolve medication-related problems to ensure safe, effective care.

You will supervise support staff, help ensure continuity of care, and contribute to cost-effective medication therapy in a fast-paced retail-like setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy in the State of Montana.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of medications and their actions.
• Must have an acute awareness of the nature of the work involved in retail pharmacy.
• Must have knowledge relative to age of patients.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacist fills orders for medications and monitors patient therapy.
• Provides drug information and identifies, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems.
• Supervises and directs support personnel and ensures continuity of care.
