Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana invites you to join our inpatient pharmacy team. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure safe, timely medication therapy across our 286-bed hospital.

Pharmacists rotate through Pediatrics, NICU, ICU, OR, and ED, participate in clinical decision-making, and support evidence-based therapies. This role offers a 4x10 schedule, weekend/holiday rotation, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
License to practice pharmacy in the applicable state and dispense controlled substances.
Current knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
Immunization certification if required by practice site.

Responsibilities

Reviews patients' medication orders for allergies, duplications, and drug interactions, with evidence-based interventions.
Ensures medications are prepared and delivered timely to care areas and stored securely.
Counsels patients and promotes medication education and adherence.
Completes regulatory training and complies with state and federal laws and pharmacy SOPs.
Supervises interns, technicians, and support staff and provides clinical consultation.
Solves problems related to equipment, maintenance, drug availability, and staffing.
Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
