St. Elizabeth Florence Outpatient Pharmacy is seeking a PRN Outpatient Pharmacist to provide patient-centered medication therapy and counseling.

You will ensure accuracy in prescription fulfillment, offer evidence-based drug information, and support a multi-disciplinary care team in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The role includes on-call support for specialty services, adherence to regulatory standards, and maintaining professional competency.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NABP-accredited pharmacy college.
• Current US pharmacist license in state where work is performed.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and practice standards (ASHP).

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch customer service following the AIDET model.
• Review and verify prescription fillings and offsite facility orders for accuracy.
• Provide accurate drug information to patients, medical staff, and nursing staff.
• Supervise and mentor Interns and Technicians; monitor task completion and guidance.
• Maintain inventory and ordering; ensure product availability and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with other departments within the healthcare system as needed.
• Maintain licensure and current knowledge of pharmacy practice.
