Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT, is seeking a Pharmacist to independently review and assess medication orders, identify drug-related problems, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to optimize therapy.

You will compound and dispense medications, provide drug information, supervise pharmacy support staff, and participate in a physician–pharmacist–nurse team dedicated to patient-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Montana Pharmacist License required upon hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• PharmD - Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
• Collaborates with MDs, nurses and other professionals to facilitate care.
• Manages drug therapy protocols as part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team.
• Compounds and dispenses medications, provides drug and drug therapy related information and supervises the work of pharmacy support personnel.
