Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Montana seeks an experienced pharmacist to review medication orders, identify potential drug-related problems, and coordinate with physicians, nurses and other professionals to ensure safe, effective therapy.

You will help manage drug therapy protocols as part of a physician–pharmacist–nurse team and supervise pharmacy support staff, contributing to patient-centered care and the hospital’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Montana Pharmacist License required at hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• PharmD in Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
• Contacts MDs, nurses and other professionals as necessary to facilitate care.
• Manages drug therapy protocols as part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team.
