Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state(s) of practice.
• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy or NABP FPGEC.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including evaluating literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, safety, adherence and administration.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions.
• Participates in medical emergencies when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Prepares, dispenses, and oversees proper storage and handling of medications.
• Serves as a preceptor for students, residents, and learners.
