Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager and help build a new outpatient pharmacy service.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with a PharmD or BPharm and licensed in the practicing state.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Immunization certification if applicable to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for interactions and appropriate therapy.
• Ensure medications are prepared and delivered timely to care areas.
• Counsel patients and promote medication education and adherence.
• Supervise interns, technicians, and support personnel as required.
• Identify and solve workflow and patient-care issues.
• Suggest process improvements to improve patient satisfaction and safety.
