Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist in Madison to perform clinical and distributive tasks ensuring safe prescription filling and smooth pharmacy operations. You will engage with patients to ensure understanding of medications and support health and wellness initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, 1-3 years of retail pharmacist experience, and Wisconsin licensure with vaccine administration certification within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin.
• Certification for vaccine administration within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Outpatient Pharmacist will perform clinical and distributive tasks to ensure safe and efficient filling of patients’ prescriptions.
• Support smooth operation of the Outpatient Pharmacy and patient understanding of medications.
• Perform additional clinical tasks to promote health and wellness and resolve suboptimal medication use.

The Outpatient Pharmacist at Meriter will perform clinical and distributive tasks to ensure safe and efficient filling of patients’ prescriptions, smooth functioning of the Outpatient Pharmacy, and patient understanding of their medications. The pharmacist will perform additional clinical tasks to encourage the health and wellness of their patients and prevent/resolve suboptimal medication usage
