Summary

Responsible to assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive‑communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and other related disorders.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Implement treatment plans through a variety of techniques and modalities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, and provide strategies for improving communication.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Education

Master's Degree Speech Therapy required

Experience

1+ year experience required

Outpatient experience preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Speech‑language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology [CCC‑A] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology [CCC‑SLP] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with diagnostic assessments for speech language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to incorporate new clinical procedures sufficiently to perform clinical services independently.
