Compass Healthcare is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology registered dietitian in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education in a collaborative clinic environment to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Qualifications

• RDN or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain).
• Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred.

• Apply the latest research in alignment with diet manuals and facility protocols.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday; no weekend coverage.

Position: Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Registered Dietitian (RD).

Compensation: $73,000–$79,000.

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education for patients in the Pediatric Outpatient Endocrinology clinic, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care.

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long‑term wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with diet manuals, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred.
