Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring an outpatient pediatric endocrinology dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and outpatient education for patients in the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic in Bangor, ME, working with a collaborative team.

You will conduct nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and offer guidance on dietary strategies to support growth, metabolic health, and family education.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in state of practice as applicable or willing to obtain.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
