Job summary

MaineGeneral Health System seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient services at FirstPark-Oakland and Enterprise Drive—Augusta clinics. You will assist patients in developing and maintaining ADLs/IADLs with emphasis on orthopedic and hand therapy, with LSVT and lymphedema training considered a bonus.

You will assess abilities, design and implement treatment plans, document progress, and participate in discharge planning while supervising assistants as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong orthopedic and hand therapist experience required.
• LSVT and Lymphedema training a bonus.
• Experience in outpatient occupational therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
