Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a PTA or hold PTLA.
• Experience in clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure caseload is managed and attendance is maintained.
• Aid in administering therapeutic interventions and set up equipment.
